I’m Miriam, I’m the owner and designer behind Everest + Gray Home Decor Boutique. I am an artist | illustrator | graphic designer with a passion for creating beautiful high quality home decor and all things home related!


Thank you for visiting my shop! I hope you find (many) things you love here! I’ll share a few things about myself, my shop and how we got here, to help you get to know us a little better...


I combine handmade and hand sewn items with unique custom artwork to create beautiful, one of a kind, high quality decor and home goods that you simply cannot find anywhere else! Quality is incredibly important to me and always has been. From the type of fabric I use, down to the packaging. I want you to love your purchase!


I decided to open my shop in 2016, after being encouraged by friends to turn my artwork into a business that would allow me to work from my home. I had already been illustrating for a well known photo collage app as well as putting my designs on pillows and other decor for my own home because I wanted pillow designs and things that I just couldn’t find anywhere else. This eventually turned into creating custom designs for friends and family. So I finally worked up the courage that late spring of 2016, to open my shop and offer my original designs on pillows, mugs, tea towels, tote bags, wall art and more.


Each year, my business has evolved and grown into more than I could have ever imagined back when I first began this journey. I love working with so many great customers and seeing my work in their homes!


As a business owner I also feel a responsibility to be mindful of the environment as well as to promote environmentally friendly products in my shop, which is why I also offer canvas tote bags and reusable towels and drinkware. I also do not produce a lot of waste by keeping a large inventory. Instead I create each item as it is ordered. I love recycling and repurposing, so these are just values that naturally carried over into my business practices.


I also do not offer anything in my shop that I personally would not use in my own home, around my own kiddos and pets.


I also like to focus on providing a laid back, no hassle shopping experience for customers in a friendly environment. Kindness matters so it’s important to me that this is reflected through my brand. We not only love to spread kindness to our customers (and everyone in general), but we love to encourage everyone visiting our shop to sprinkle kindness around to others like confetti too! 🎉


Overall as the owner of Everest + Gray Home Decor Boutique, my goal is to provide unique high quality decor that is easy to care for and beautifully designed, in a warm friendly shop that makes you feel right at home!


I offer custom designs as well and I really enjoy working with customers! So don’t hesitate to say hello 👋🏽 and send me a message if you have any questions or wish to request a custom order.


I greatly appreciate each and every customer I have the opportunity to work with. It means a great deal to me to be able to do what I feel comes naturally to me and I enjoy doing everyday. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for supporting a small business, a dream and a family.


I do ask that everyone please read my shop policies before placing an order, so that you are fully aware of our return and cancellation policy as well as the processing and shipping time required for each item. I do require a certain amount of time to complete each order. This is a handmade / hand designed shop so we do not keep items stocked, they are made to order.
